Working and treatment of Glyburide – Micronase Diabeta
Glyburide is for treating the type2 diabetes especially in the patients whose sugar levels are not maintained by controlled diet and regular exercises also. Diabeta or the Glyburide contain in them the active components and the ingredient Glyburide hydrochloride. The basic working of this drug is to increase the body's feel towards the insulin present. This insulin is one of the major components that are produced by the body itself to control the glucose and the blood sugar levels in the body.

Insulin in the body forces the cells to remove the sugars from the blood. The drug works by inhibiting ATP-sensitive potassium channels in pancreatic beta cells. This inhibition causes cell membrane depolarization, opening of voltage-dependent calcium channels. This triggers an increase in intracellular calcium into the beta cell which stimulates insulin release. Micronase is usually provided with doses of 1.25mg, 2.5mg and 5mg. Generic Glyburide or the Micronase do not serve as a good treatment for type1 diabetes.

For this reason it should not be used for people suffering from active lever disease or the jaundice. Researches and tests that have been conducted show that Glyburide or Micronase should be used with due care. The drug is only taken with due prescription from the doctor. The normal period of consumption is once in a day which could go for days or weeks. When Glyburide is taken by patients usually complaints regarding low hemoglobin levels in the blood are frequently checked.
