Many medicines available these days have some or the other side
effects. The severity of side effects depends from person to person.
Micronase is a major cause of drug induced hypoglycemia. Severe
allergic reactions may also occur due to the side effect of this
drug. The common skin problems like rashes, itching and swelling on
the face have been noticed. Symptoms of heart failure and liver
problems have also been very severe side effect as seen in the past
results.
The very common side effects seen with Glyburide are disturbances in
vision or seeing (that is blurred vision), putting on weight, less
sensitivity of sense of touch, anemia, arthralgia that is relating
the pains in the joints, headache, haematuria that is flow of blood
with the urine and oedema which results in swelling. Other severe
side effects with this drug are impotence that is erectile
dysfunction, removal of proteins in the urine and also glycosuria
which is presence of sugar and glucose in the urine.
Level of the drugs consumed is varying vital which is preferable by
consulting with a doctor. Cases of osteonecrosis of the jaw have
been reported in the medical literature. Other severe side effects
with this drug are impotence that is erectile dysfunction, removal
of proteins and glycosuria which is present in the urine. Some
moderate side effects are insomnia which is related to difficulty in
sleeping, dizziness, flatulence which means gathering of excess gas
in the stomach and sweating.
